Meet ELIOT WHEELER ESQ. from Liverpool UK. 🇬🇧

Eliot is an incredible guitar player. He was a member of goth lords THE DANSE SOCIETY for about 10 years.

He is currently a member of B.F.G.- fronted by my pal MIKE SIMKINS.

Here is ELIOT centre- stage playing “Amelia” in concert with B.F.G. in Leipzig, Germany 🇩🇪 on World Goth Day. (MIKE is on the left of the screen and BJ WILLIAMS is the vocalist.) Watch his incredible guitar work over this 8 minute gem.

ELIOT was part of the crew with me that attended the HOOK gig. Here we are about to partake in some delightful Indian food pre- gig.

The next day I travelled by train to Liverpool to visit the ROUGH TRADE shop. Eliot came over to meet me. We had coffees and talked about his time in DANSE SOCIETY. I hadn’t thought to bring my LP sleeves for signing, but fortunately they had one 12” EP in stock. Eliot signed it for me. Thanks to Alice of Rough Trade for the photo.

The LP is the eponymous titled “Weaveworld” out this year. The band is comprised of former CHAMELEONS members ANDY CLEGG and JOHN LEVER (RIP) and ANDY WHITAKER from successor THE SUN & THE MOON.

The band recorded this LP from tracks written in the early 90’s.
