It was record store day two weeks ago!

It is one of my favourite days of the year!

I didn’t get in line early like I usually do because of some logistical issues but I made it down to DR. DISC and bagged some great releases by some of my favourite artists.

PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING 🇬🇧 is first up.

In 2016 they released an LP version of remixes from their 2015 sophomore LP “Race For Space.”

They reissued that LP as a 2026 Record Store Day release.

Each track on the LP has been remixed by a prominent indie artist.

JAMES CHAPMAN from Northampton records and remixes as MAPS 🇬🇧. He has reworked the song “The Other Side.” As this very story was just in the news it makes for a perfect selection from this vibrant record today.
