Space and Times a Circle

About 50 weeks ago (September 22, 2025 – post 2248), I did a post about how the movie “Caught Stealing” by DARREN ARONOFSKY 🇺🇸 intersected with my life very meaningfully.

It’s time for another movie post today.

Yesterday, Kimberly and myself and 3 others were the only ones in theatre to see the clever and wonderful British romantic comedy entitled “Finding Emily” directed by ALICIA MACDONALD 🇬🇧.

Angourie Rice, Spike Fearn

[Ed. Note- Kim and Hannah B saw the flick last week and they knew rex would have to see it as well. They were correct.]

I don’t want to give anything away, but the movie touched on many foundational things in my life, including music and Manchester.

Go see this if you can find it in a theatre, but do seek it out when it is otherwise released. You can send me a thank you when you have viewed it. I will then tell you the 318 connections I have to this flick- many that you will immediately get.

I will just give you a key song in the movie sung by SPIKE FEARN, playing the role of the protagonist, “Owen.”

Here it is. Go see this art house gem and keep the spirit alive please.

Here is “Catch You Up”, written by poet ANTONY SZMIEREK 🇬🇧 and performed by lead actor SPIKE FEARN 🇬🇧
