How can they look so different? What gives?

This is an 11cd box of the singles released by legendary Bristol trip hop geniuses MASSIVE ATTACK 🇬🇧

The box was designed by well respected designer TOM HINGSTON 🇬🇧 and the band’s ROBERT DEL NAJA. They used thermally treated paper that turns to white when touched by hand or otherwise exposed to heat. It is literally kinetic as you can see below.

There are 63 songs, including remixes over the 11 CDs. Wonderful stuff. The songs are from their first 3 studio albums – “Blue Lines”, “Protection” and z”Mezzanine.”

For today’s song I have selected “Protection”. It is the title track of their their second LP. It features the vocal stylings of TRACY THORN of EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL 🇬🇧
