I did some reading this weekend and was reminded that the table game Monopoly was produced 91 years ago! 1935 was in the heart of the depression. It is said that there have been 275 million copies of the game sold worldwide…

There have been many imitators and much competition but the game is still goo going strong.

As most of you know, the game locations are from the state of NEW JERSEY. That got me thinking- how many post- punk outfits from NEW JERSEY have any kind of monopoly in my collection?

While there are a few, the band that has the biggest monopoly on my discography is undoubtedly THE FEELIES.
