On April 4, I posted “An Imperial Day” regarding our visit to see the front entrance and lobby of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Imperial Hotel at the Meiji- Mura outdoor architectural museum while we were in Japan.

I selected the song “Come On Feel The Illinoise- Part 1” from SUFJAN STEVENS because of Wright’s Illinois connection in Oak Park.

Shortly thereafter my pal and music guru WALLY @TBM sent me a message loving the post, but stating he thought I was going to choose the track “Imperial” by PRIMAL SCREAM 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 from their debut LP, “Sonic Flower Groove”, given the subject of the post.

I immediately knew I had blown it as that song would have been choice.

I didn’t have to wait long for validation. Just 9 days after my return, look what was on the list for Record Store Day 2026!
