OH SUNNY DAY!

4/19/2025

First great sunny day of the year yesterday and the first ballgame of the year today!

Those pleasant sunny thoughts reminded me, not surprisingly, of a sweet tune by THE HIGH VIOLETS 🇺🇸.

Based out of Portland, Oregon, this 4 piece shoegaze crew has been making aces music since 1998 in various lineup configurations.

“Sun Baby” is the opening track from their 2006 LP “To Where You Are.”

Soak it in! [ Ed. Note- as rex has been doing on repeat.]
