It was just a few weeks ago (February 15 to be exact) that I did a massive post featuring travel for 2026. The post referenced bands from around the globe in an 85 song playlist.

Then, week later, I had to apologize for including a band from Mexico on the list after massive violence broke out there.

Now, given global events, it would appear my fascination with travel has caused more potential issues. Group members Pam and David were wise enough to cancel a planned March break to Dubai 🇦🇪 a week before hostilities broke out. Sorry.

When I did my playlist I researched for quite some time to identify artists in my collection from countries I would travel to for vacation. I was surprised that I couldn’t identify Portugal🇵🇹

But I was wrong.

pôt- pot are from Lisbon, Portugal and Cork, Ireland 🇮🇪.

That works as Portugal for me.
