Just the other day I was wondering what ever happened to TAMARYN?

The shoegaze phenomenon and admirer (as I am) of the CRANES 🇬🇧 had been on my radar for a few years. It is not uncommon for this to occur. Many indie artists fall by the wayside prematurely.

As I was reaching, I saw that her last LP was, her fourth- “Dreaming The Dark” from 2019.

And then I noticed that she contributed to a song in 2024!

The song is by a Hong Kong outfit that is new to me. The band is KAI TAK 🇭🇰. (That is the name of the old airport in Hong Kong bees)

The LP is entitled “Designed In Heaven, Made in Hong Kong.”

The song is entitled “Flood The Harbour”

Also contributing is an Oakland, CA outfit called THERE’S TALK 🇺🇸.

I look forward to checking out these two artists that TAMRYN has led me too. Hopefully this is a sign that TAMRYN will return!
