In a year of music I loved, it comes down to this. The LP that I found myself coming back to the most often was “New Place” by PALE BLUE EYES 🇬🇧. There is something about the songwriting of this indie/ shoegaze trio that cranks me up.

Unfortunately, PALE BLUE EYES were scheduled to play METEOR here in Wïndsor in November but had to cancel the short North American tour. I am worried that they are on the cusp of such a significant following and may never make it here to our provincial city.

If they honour their commitment to return, I will happily present them with the gwrex365 Album Of The Year Award!
