They say nobody remembers who finishes second so I urge you to listen and engage with this LP in its entirety often so it doesn’t suffer that fate.

NIGHTBUS is a trio that hail from my favourite music city, Manchester 🇬🇧 so I must admit to a certain inherent bias. That these guys remind me of JOY DIVISION, NEW ORDER (pre 2007) and SECTION 25 only heightens my regard for this LP.

“Angles Mortz” is not only my favourite track on this 12 song, 41 minute post- punk blast, but my most- listened track of 2025. It starts with the PETER HOOK inspired bassline and the MARTIN HANNETT atmospherics to set the tone.
