I am sitting in a Starbux on Huron Church Road (formerly Huron Line) in Windsor working on my upcoming project when, just a few minutes ago, I received a message from friend and group member DAVID MUELLER of the band HURON LINES telling me about the release today of their new EP “Overthinker”.
He recommended the track “The Ghost Of Maiden Lane”. The song is a reference to Maiden Lane Wine and Spirits- an incredible cocktail bar owned by Group Member Mark!
David and I both admire the late MARK LANEGAN and his great voice. DAVID is clearly channeling LANEGAN on this track! While not quite a “premiere”, here is “The Ghost Of Maiden Lane” on release day to take you through this chilling Friday! Note – the snippet on the Spotify version is from inside the bar…
