On the road this week and this gives me an opportunity to feature the bucket of new LPs I have recently accumulated! None of them are blues music. Ironically, I am staying at the newish Hard Rock Hotel in London, Ont. Cool place but not generally my music playing here either…

First up, the 4th full length from the New York 🇺🇸 synthmeisters NATION OF LANGUAGE.

The LP is entitled “Dance Called Memory.”

I would describe this 10 track gem as meeting at the intersection of ULTRAVOX, NEW ORDER and OMD with an occasional DEPECHE MODE chaser/ 8/10. Here are my two favourite songs, after a few listens.

First up is “In Your Head.” I love the way the song builds to a crescendo, fades to a false ending and then rebuilds.
