26 years!

It has been 26 long years since we last heard from Leicester agit post punkers extraordinaire PROLAPSE.

That ended Friday with the release of their 5th LP entitled “I Wonder When They Are Going To Destroy Your Face” on Tapete Records.

A couple of tidbits. PROLAPSE feature the alternating vocals of MICK DERRICK and LINDA STERLYARD. Their bracing sound is formed with 3 guitars and a pulsing drum and bass overlay. I was also delighted to learn that former JULIAN COPE bandmember DONALD ROSS SKINNER is now in the band – bravo.

I am unable to wait for my copy of the LP to arrive to do a post. So here is my early fave track- “On The Quarter Days” to jolt you out of your peaceful Sunday on this last day of August. (Note- video is 4 min and Spotify is 7.)
