I was thrilled to observe that one of my New York faves released a new single as a precursor to their next LP.

The band is NATION OF LANGUAGE 🇺🇸.

Their LP “Strange Disciple” (PIAS) was the ROUGH TRADE Album Of The Year at in 2023.

It is classic indie. The trio produce classic synth-pop magic. While listening to this outfit I found my self identifying the various musical influences that go into their sound. Here are some- in no particular order:
