I visited 3 record stores while in Victoria. DITCH RECORDS on Fort St. was the best.

A vast array of vinyl and perhaps the largest collection of vinyl box sets I have seen in a single store ever!

I was successful in finding my intended release.

PREOCCUPATIONS 🇨🇦 are a solid indie band, originally from Calgary.

They self-released a cassette (2014) and an LP (2015). While the music was excellent, they recorded under the unfortunate band name – VIET CONG.

By 2016, the pressure to change this obviously offensive monicker succeeded and they became known as PREOCCUPATIONS.

Just recently they released their 4th LP entitled “Ill At Ease”.

Here it is emerging from the Ditch…
