I noticed with some glee recently that one of my all time favourite outfits, SPIRITUALZED 🇬🇧 are touring!

This is such welcome news. Main- Spirit JASON PIERCE has led a fragile life [Ed. Note- In 2005 J. Spaceman (As he is also known) had his last rights read when he was near death from pneumonia. There are reasons for this fragility but rex has been told those in strict confidence.]

My favourite SPIRITUALIZED LP is the 1997 gem entitled “Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space”.

In my humble opinion, this is their best LP. I am not alone is that 1997 assessment. It was rated by New Musical Express (NME) as their LP of the year topping many highly regarded long- players.

I literally could have chosen any of the 12 tracks on this 70 minute opus for today’s song.

In the end I went with my favourite- “I Think I Am In Love” for its’ 8:10 journey of amazing melody and clipped lyrics that builds to a magic crescendo!
