70 years ago today George Ernest King Esq. of Windsor, Ontario married Helen Dorothy King R.N. of Ridgetown, Ontario.

The marriage occurred following a whirlwind 4 month courtship after a “blind” date arranged by Dorothy’s nurse colleague Heather and her husband Robert’s pal, George.

[Ed. Note- For the “record” it was 9 months to the day following their marriage that rex was hatched.]

George and Dorothy were happily married for 60 years until Dottie (as those close referred to her) passed in 2015, a week shy of her 85th birthday.
