I am constantly referencing what I see, hear and experience with my music collection. The lead character in the 80’s sitcom “Dream On” would tap into scenes from old movies that related to his life.

With me, it is usually lyrics that I relate to things in my life.

Here is a classic from MATT JOHNSON and his legendary outfit THE THE.

The song is “Heartland” from their classic 1986 LP “Infected.”

They cleverly released a video for every song on the LP. This song lodged prominently into my cranium then and remains there almost 39 years later. It may do the same with you.

I am certain it will make you quietly chuckle in a disquieting/ queasy kind of way. It might make you sad.
