It is only fitting that on this personally significant milestone day, I am able to present you with a song from my favourite band of all time, JOY DIVISION, from my favourite album of all time, “Closer” played by my musical hero, bass player, PETER HOOK.

The LP was released on July 18, 1980- exactly 2 months to the day following the tragic demise of lead singer, IAN CURTIS.

Not surprisingly, here is “Decades”- the final track on the LP. It perfectly captures my last decade.
