20 SONGS FOR 20 days (1/2- The First 10)

It has been a restless time since I returned from Texas and posted the now legendary apology post entitled “Now Ear This”. The comments about that post have been numerous and hesitantly complimentary.

I only have done the 808 post since.

But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been actively listening to new music and preparing a playlist to get you through to September.

This release comes 2 years after the gut- wrenching passing of ALAN’S spouse and co- founding member MIMI PARKER in 2022.

6. MIKI BERENYI TRIO 🇬🇧

The legendary vocalist/ guitarist from 1990’s shoegaze geniuses LUSH resurfaces again!

Following a brief LUSH reunion in 2015/ 2016, then two choice LPs from her follow up band PIROSHKA, and writing a superb book, we now have the MIKI BERENYI TRIO.

The other two members are her husband “MOOSE” McKILLOP (of the band MOOSE) and OLIVER CHERER who were both in Peroshka.
