Now, here is a small piece on the “other” PARIS ANGELS.

PARIS ANGELS emerged from the Manchester area in the late 80’s. This 7 piece melded 80’s period dance music with electronic sounds as part of what became known as the MADCHESTER scene.

Their 1991 debut LP “Sundew” received rave reviews. Their attempt at a second LP got ensnared in record company corporate wheeling and dealing shenanigans and was never properly released.

[Ed. Note- That LP was recorded in 1992 and was entitled “Eclipse.” However, it wasn’t until 2015 that the band released it for free on BANDCAMP.]

Third single “I Understand” was the Single Of The Week in the last issue of SOUNDS MAGAZINE on April 6, 1991.

To celebrate the girls’ time in Paris today’s track is their most well-known.

“Perfume (All On You)” was a dancefloor hit back in 1990. It still resonates today.
