Happy Father’s Day to all dads in our little group.

Rather, it is the unique geo- spatial configuration of our kids on the globe this Father’s Day!

As well, happy memories for all of the wonderful fathers who are no longer with us on the pitch.

The band I selected for my favourite city and currently being explored by Hay, Hannah B and Courts is BLACK COUNTRY NEW ROAD.

Two LPs in and their lead singer left the band for health reasons. Undaunted, this band, originally from Cambridge but now based in London, went to work immediately on new material. They they had the audacity to record these new songs live and release them for the first time as a live LP! Insane. The product was “Live At Bush Hall” (2023 Ninja Records).

Life partners SAM BIELANSKI (vocals) and MATT MORAND (bass) are known as PONY. They are getting significant recognition from critics far and wide.

MATT is a group member and is knowledgeable about many things indie music. When he is not writing songs, or on tour, MATT works at DR. DISC in Windsor. This facilitates excellent music discussions when I am at the store…
