What a day! Perhaps my best Record Store Day ever.

After a slightly nippy wait outside Dr. Disc from 6:20 until 9 here in Wïndsor, I managed to get some decent RSD releases! More on those in the near future.

Daughter Hannah B and UK friend did some UK assisting for me as well. Thanks!!!

Ironically, the most unusual acquisition was a cd- not a record!!! I’ll explain.

Bart at Dr. Disc came across this in the cd bin in the store…

It is a bloody SIGNED ! cd of Teenage Fanclub LP “ Bandwagonesque” from 1992 on Creation Records. And now it is in my collection!

This copy is signed by founders Norman Blake (Faith Healers, BMX Bandits) Gerard Love, Raymond McGinley and notably (for me) Brendan O’Hare who later was a member the bands TELSTAR PONIES and early MOGWAI.

Back in the day Spin Magazine ranked this 1992 release as the best of the year- beating out “Nevermind” by NIRVANA, “Loveless” by MY BLOODY VALENTINE and “Screamadelica” by PRIMAL SCREAM. I don’t rank it that high but what a rush it was to acquire this…again.
