It’s the day before RECORD STORE DAY and we are pleased today to welcome ANGELA to our little Group.

Angela is a noted DJ (AdoraMorales to those cognoscenti among you) and has a fantastic sense of music and indie culture.

We recently discussed the sad passing of mutual friend Brian last year without knowing we were both friends until now.

I told Angela that given Brian’s love of jazz and funk, a band we often chatted about was A CERTAIN RATIO – an original FACTORY RECORDS band from MANCHESTER, formed in the late 70’s.

I knew they had a new LP coming soon and, ironically, it dropped today! It is entitled “It All Comes Down To This” (Mute Records.) By my count, it is their 13th studio album.

An early fave of mine on the LP is “Out From Under”.
