[Ed. Note- You can’t make this up.]
Yesterday I did a post expressing a bit of frustration [Ed. Note- It was bit more than that rex.] that after a 22 year new release hiatus from MY BLOODY VALENTINE in 2013 it has now been another 10 years of radio silence from MBV.
I commented that all KEVIN SHIELDS has done with MBV since then is re-release different versions of their two key releases using different recording methods. I ended by saying I was done with that as I was “ca out.” l
Today I was geared for two things. Firstly, I worked on the start of the post for today referencing BOY HARSHER.
Second I was excited to stop by my local record store, DR. DISC to pick up the new LP by faves SLEATER- KINNEY being released today!
When I arrived, Bart, advised me that the Sleater had not arrived but something had arrived that he knew would excite me. He then handed me this:

You got it… The Fully Analogue version of the LP!
Store owner and Group member Liam had not yet seen the post but said was quick to advise they had been searching for a long time for the fully analogue albums.

Of course, the record is now in my collection and my copy of “Loveless” will be arriving soon.
There is no messing with that kind of coincidence. Perhaps it is a sign that this drought will end…
And so, a rare back to back gwilliamrexunderground365 occurrence. Here is the excellent “Nothing Much To Lose” from the LP.

[Ed. Note- The cover photo for today’s post is the poster for the Canadian 🇨🇦 slasher film “My Bloody Valentine” which is the source of the name for this band.]
