The blokes pictured below were once members of a LIVERPOOL 🇬🇧 band formed in 1977 called THE CRUCIAL THREE. They are one of the most notorious bands that never recorded a song. That notoriety stems from their time post THE CRUCIAL THREE.

#1 is IAN McCULLOCH of ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN fame. You have likely heard of him and the band. You have certainly heard their music.

#2 is JULIAN COPE of TEARDROP EXPLODES and then solo. You have probably heard COPE music at some point.

#3 is likely unknown to you and it is very unlikely you have heard of his many bands or songs. His name is PETE WYLIE. He has lead a mostly unknown career as the front man for the WAH! bands- in particular WAH, WAH! HEAT, THE MIGHTY WAH! and other variations.
