My friend and colleague Jason had a big day today.

No, I am not talking about the Aussie golfer.

No, I am honouring my friend and colleague on his pinnacle day.

Congratulations Jason.

The day was so big, this was the scene in my office yesterday as Jason prepped for the solemn day to come..,

So what song to pick out of the 140,000 or so in my collection?

Any number of them would do fine.

Given the wretched weather today, a track by THE RAINCOATS might have worked fine. In that same vein, I thought about “The Day The Rain Came Down” by favourites FELT.

I also considered the punk classic entitled “Complete Control” by THE CLASH.

In the end, I settled on a legendary track from the real NEW ORDER (ie. when they were an intact outfit with the amazing PETER HOOK on base.)

So here it is. “Everything’s Gone Green“ is the perfect song and HOW I Elected to honour him.
