MORE CORROSION PLEASE!

Many of you know my oldest son DJ DREW.

You may also know how much he loves his music. Most of what he listens to, and listens to and listens to is a selection of indie hits from my collection and, … get ready for it… songs from Superhero movies.

Just 5 days before we attended the Tiger game shown above DJ DREW, ZIO, JON JON and I attended a long awaited gig at THE FILMORE in Detroit.

For the first time in 15+ years ANDREW ELDRITCH, the major domo of the SISTERS OF MERCY (Leeds 🇬🇧) brought his band to play in North America!

I had last seen these Goth legends play live in 1985 during their “First and Last and Always” Tour. [Ed. NOTE- WAYNE HUSSEY, later of THE MISSION fame, was in the SISTERS at that time.]

The SISTERS tune ‘This Corrosion’ comes from their 2nd LP entitled “Floodland”. It was released in 1987. The album was produced by JIM STEINMAN who brought you “Bat Our of Hell” by MEATLOAF.

DJ DREW has listened to this Growler well over a 1,000 times! To watch him dance to this song live to both of us for the 1st time was one of my favourite moments of the year in any respect- not just music. Here it is-
