I saw this fantastic rubbish container two weeks ago in Bristol and thought December 8 would be a perfect day to use it centrepiece for today’s song to celebrate 5 rubbish free years.

My first thought was too obvious- a song by American scenesters GARBAGE.

Perhaps a song from the classic LP by BLUR entitled “Modern Life Is Rubbish”?

My pal DAVID FORD has a couple of gems that would work. In particular I considered “Go To Hell” and “Cheer Up (You Miserable Fuck)”.

In the end I am going with a great song from a perfectly named band for December 8. Here are S.C.U.M. with “Whitechapel”. My worst experience at a Tube Station happened at Whitechapel btw.
