On the train for a day into Bristol this week we went by a town just east of Bath called Bradford On- Avon.

It made me wonder what the reinvigorated outfit named BRADFORD was up to these days. Their highly rewarding 2021 LP entitled “Bright Hours” was one of my favourites of that year.

Then, whilst walking in Bristol I saw this street sign that snapped me to attention-

You see, Stephen Street is a legendary music producer most known for his work with many of my faves including, but not limited to THE SMITHS, MORRISEY, BLUR, NEW ORDER, SUEDE and STEVE MASON (from BETA BAND).

He also produced the early music by BRADFORD and is now a permanent member of the band since 2020!

The stars were clearly aligned. It compelled me to do some research that was was rewarding as I have learned another LP in the works.
