Note how they had the top billing over BIFF BANG POW and THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN.

However, how things changed…

Just last week I told you the story of how they were the original darlings in the early days or CREATION RECORDS until ALAN McGEE directed his energies to THE JESUS & MARY CHAIN and THE JASMINE MINKS were somewhat left in the dust.

On the same day I posted about the new JASMINE MINKS I learned that the JESUS & MARY CHAIN will have a new LP (their second studio release since 1998) entitled “Glasgow Eyes” out on March 8, 2024!!

As they say, you can’t make this stuff up.
