Indie/ post music is now old enough to be having grandchildren.

As a result, it has become de rigueur for bands to release anniversary versions of noted LPs. The gestation period for these special editions is as low as 10 years. Most are celebrating 30-40 years.

On October 6, 2023, 4AD released this edition. The release is gorgeous.

2 clear vinyl discs with the LP remastered. The 2nd disc contains demos and remixes.

This was the 2nd of 3 PALE SAINTS indie/ shoegaze. Singer IAN MASTERS left the band a few years later to avoid touring.

I had a great time listening to the LP this afternoon on a short break from work while having a bowl of ramen outside on this unseasonably warm day.
