As if it wasn’t enough that I received a WhatsApp early Friday morning with a brilliant new tune from Amelia Chain, a package arrived while I was at work.

Many of you have heard me tell you about the musical maven from Ottawa named Wally. He runs an amazing little music label called

Anyway, @WallyTBM not only sent me some great new cds from his label but also 2 LPs he knew I would love.

Less than two weeks ago (October 6) I featured two mew songs by JETSTREAM PONY. The band is fronted by the indie legend BETH ARZY.

Well, one of the LPs was by another Beth band- this one- THE TREASURES OF MEXICO.

Their new release is entitled ‘Burn The Jets.’ The album is Aces!

The 3rd song ‘Halo’ is one of the top songs I have heard this year.
