A tiny delay.

It is 5:40 am on Saturday, September 23, 2023. It finally had to happen…

After a full day of work, a special dinner for a friend who had a significant birthday, and packing for this early morning departure, there was a fail for the first time …no song after 628 consecutive days.

It had to happen and it did. I simply did not have the time or energy at 11 last night to crank out a post for the sole purpose of making it to song 629 on the next day…

I am off on the train to Toronto to see Slowdive. Here is the outfit I will be listening to on the train.

DUSTER are from San Jose, CA. They released 2 LPs in the 90’s and then disappeared for 20 years. On the rebound they have also released two more discs.

I would describe their music as slowcore. They record on older, low – grade equipment to effect this sound. It is perfect for this early morning train ride….

They recently released a 7”box set comprising their first 3 singles.
