The other day, work colleague Brandon sent me a link to two songs by an artist called BODY OF LIGHT from Tempe AZ.

They were entitled ‘Don’t Pretend’ and Never Ever’. I recognized the artist and song and shared that with Brandon by sending him a picture of my cd version of “Time To Kill” (2019) which features ‘Pretend.’

I also told him I saw them when they were on the bill with two other excellent artists- Daïs Records artists (DRAB MAJESTY and XENO & OAKLANDER) at The EL Club (Detroit) in August of 2019.

Turns out Brandon was at the gig too! We didn’t know each other then. However, when he told me it made a great impetus for today’s post.
