MARK ROBINSON* is an indie tour de force. Hailing from the Washington D. C. area, he was a part of the band UNREST which released two influential albums in the early 90’s.

On dissolution of that outfit he formed AIR MIAMI with BRIDGET CROSS from UNREST and two others. They released one LP jointly on the TEENBEAT Record Label (which Robinson started when he was in high school) and the renowned British indie label 4AD.

That LP is entitled “Me, Me, Me” (1995) and was just re-released in a deluxe vinyl format. I could not resist, even though I have this great LP on CD.

The gorgeous vinyl LP is spread out over two 12” records that play at 45rpm. Three additional tracks were added to this release – making it a slam dunk for me to add to my collection.

My favourite song on this LP is unquestionably
