As we approach Song 600, I must tell you I often get asked by Group members (and sometimes by others who have heard of the ongoing tale of gwilliamrexunderground365 but are not members) “rex why do you this day after day?”

I will give you 2:54 reasons.

Some of you know my colleague PARDEEP. When we first started working together he noticed the musical ephemera in my office and

we began chatting about indie music. You see, years ago he worked at MUCH MUSIC – Canada’s MTV. He immediately joined the Group.

Last week, while on a short break Pardeep suddenly said to me out of the blue, “My wife is totally loving the band 2:54.”

I was simultaneously stunned and thrilled.

You see, I did a post on the band 2:54 🇬🇧 over 5 months ago! On February 21 I posted “What is 2:54?” (SONG 417)!

To know that just one of these posts have been shared by PARDEEP with his wife TARA was news to me. That I had introduced her to a new band and she had become a huge fan makes this whole thing justified and worthwhile. Yes!!!

There have been over 500 artists featured so far on gwilliamrexunderground365. This outfit would certainly be considered one of the lesser-known lesser-known artists I have featured in the context of the music industry as a whole, and even within indie music corridors. That makes it all the more special that TARA has discovered an artist she might otherwise have never heard.,,,

So today, for TARA, we go back to listen to the post- punk, bass driven, female vocals offering of 2:54!
