Those of you that have been in the Group for 2 months will remember my excitement when so was able to attend The Independent Music Labels show at THE COAL DROP YARDS.

Among my many treasured purchases that day was a 3 CD box set entitled C85. It is part of a series issued by CHERRY RED RECORDS that has its origins in the legendary C86 cassette tape given away with an issue of the NME that year.

I thought with that purchase I owned the entire set (C85 – C91). All of the CD sets were there for sale. C91 looked familiar and I thought I owned it. But I was wrong. I got home and discovered I did not have it! It has been gnawing at me ever since.

I rectified that yesterday at the FOPP RECORDS location here in CAMBRIDGE.

Yes. Now I can await the release of C84 or C92!

But what song to select from the 59 songs? I estimate that I have about 2/3rds of these songs in my collection.

I wanted to select a band not yet featured through the first 550+ songs that have been on gwilluamrexundethround365. I landed on DODGY and their track, ‘Summer Fayre.’

DODGY formed in the early 90’s out of Hounslow 🇬🇧 (just outside London). They were part of the BRITPOP movement.
